Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania, founded in 1912, offers remarkable opportunities for girls to develop positive values and to contribute to their communities. The organization is well known for building girl's confidence, courage, and character -- ultimately translating into responsible citizens, thinkers, and women leaders throughout society. In addition to their famous Girl Scout Cookies, the organization offers over 900 products to its members. Its family of products crosses many categories, including: Daisy, Brownie, Junior, Cadette, Senior & Ambassador, Volunteer & Adult, and more.
Having 12 Brick 'N Mortar store locations in Pennsylvania, Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania sought the expertise of newline Creations to re-design and develop its "13th store" -- Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania Online Shop. "The staff needed to manage the online store inventory and product information in real-time. The ProWebsite CMS solution enables them to do just that," explains Oto Hlincik, senior business analyst, newline Creations. The Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania came to newline Creations with a wish list of enhancements to the existing Online Shop's e-commerce functionality.
